Our Delicious story
The Fish Basket is the creation of Peter and Elaine Shanahan.
We are serving fresh fish & chips locally sourced from West Cork.
Cooking is an art and patience a virtue. Careful shopping, fresh ingredients and an unhurried approach are nearly all you need.
There is one more thing - love. Love for food and love for those you invite to your table.
With a combination of these things, you can be an artist.

All in all great food served and cooked by people who know how to source great fish and cook with the care.

August 11, 2019 Pleased to visit The Fish Basket in these premises. A step up from a car park by the N71. Have been looking forward to coming here on our holiday in Ireland. The fish tacos were excellent. Friendly service.

April 26, 2019Called in yesterday evening with my sister. Amazing scampi, crab sandwich, chips and 2 x soft drinks - €20 ! Great value and lovely fresh seafood. Would definitely recommend.
