The Fish Basket is the creation of Peter and Elaine Shanahan.
We are serving fresh fish & chips locally sourced from West Cork.
Cooking is an art and patience a virtue. Careful shopping, fresh ingredients and an unhurried approach are nearly all you need.
There is one more thing - love. Love for food and love for those you invite to your table.
With a combination of these things, you can be an artist.

October 26, 2018Myself,husband and two boys went there tonight! The food was wonderful and the coffee very good . Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also was very impressed with location and the play pit for the lads. Toilet was very clean and I was surprised how chilled out the place was. We will be back as this is local to us and the fresh cod was the best we have had in some time. Great place well done x
