April 24, 2016Fish was beautiful, cod, I don't eat cod, but person who had it said it was very good. Shame the chips were the frozen variety. Have to have fresh chips for a good "fish and chips" . I had a burger, which itself was lovely. Unfortunately, it was saturated with some kind of sauce and cheese added, which I did not ask for or want. I will be back there and be more specific when I order. Fresh chips please.

Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and was so great to see the owner Peter having a friendly word with all ... Would highly recommend the scones and flat white were scrumptious... Looking forward to my next visit ... 10 outta 10

May 13, 2018 Fabulous food served by the sea on the beautiful Long Strand. Delicious fresh fish ! The restaurant is in a rustic wooden hut at the entrance to the beach, it’s well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.

August 17, 2018 Enjoyed a fabulous lunch in the Fish Basket yesterday, sandwiched in between 2 walks on the spotless, wild & wonderful beach. Helena was very welcoming & I enjoyed the Special of the day - HUGE prawns & crab claws in garlic butter with chips! I was in Heaven - Looking forward to going back!
