Fish was beautiful, cod, I don't eat cod, but person who had it said it was very good. Shame the chips were the frozen variety. Have to have fresh chips for a good "fish and chips" . I had a burger, which itself was lovely. Unfortunately, it was saturated with some kind of sauce and cheese added, which I did not ask for or want. I will be back there and be more specific when I order. Fresh chips please.

  We are so delighted to have the Fish Basket so close by . We had a fabulous lunch today: Scampi and chips And crab claws and mussels . Both dishes were amazing. So fresh , just as fish should be. And real chips: not from a frozen bag... Great addition to local food scene. Well done all there!!!

Lovely relaxed fish & chips with the girls, we brought the rosé with us and topped it off with lovely coffees! Casual dining at its best !

utterly fab Sunday morning treat after a run, coffee and scone in the cafe. lively menu. cosy. buzzy and could have sat there all day. fab atmosphere. can't wait to go back again... well done Peter and gang.

just back from a lovely evening at The Fish Basket.Warm welcome comfortable table great service. 2 John Dory bring your own wine magic night out.Our friends had a share plate of hake scampi and squid. All in all great food served and cooked by people who know how to source great fish and cook with the care. on the shore line of one of West Cork's most beautiful beaches. Looking forward to returning soon.

Called in yesterday evening with my sister. Amazing scampi, crab sandwich, chips and 2 x soft drinks - €20 ! Great value and lovely fresh seafood. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous food. Well worth a visit. Kids loved the hens, pigs + sand area. Selection of fish + chips just delicious. We ate here twice in our few days in Clonakilty. It was just that good we had to go back!

The fish in batter was cooked to perfection Lovely outside seated area with amazing view over Rosscarbrey. And great for families as they have a sand pit and some chickens and pigs �
